John Robert Wanner, age 60, of Hudson passed away unexpectedly Thursday, December 5th, 2019 of a heart attack at the Hudson Hospital emergency room. He was born on July 20th, 1959 in Hudson, WI & graduated from Hudson High School in 1977. He was a loving father survived by his family & children: Charles Wanner, Grace Wanner, Hazel Wanner; Significant Other: Sara Anderson; Mother of his children: Kristine Wanner; Mother: Genevieve Osborne; Siblings: Ben Wanner, Lynn Wanner Ogburn, Lisa Wanner Spott, Bill Wanner. John resided in Hudson for the duration of his life & served his community for 20 years as a volunteer firefighter. He loved flowers, gardening, hunting, fishing, & being outdoors. A Memorial Service for John will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday December 15th at O’Connell Family Funeral Home, 520 11th St. S. Hudson, with a Visitation taking place from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM preceding the service.
