Albert was born February 3, 1953 in Fresno, California, one of twelve children born to John and Rema (Burchett) Sain. He attended high school in Reno, Nevada, before beginning a long career in roofing. Albert was united in marriage to Delana Choat on October 11, 1970 in Walla Walla, Washington. He enjoyed listening to and had attending concerts of many of his favorite performers, including Merle Haggard, Don Williams, Waylon Jennings, and Conway Twitty. Albert was also fond of singing and strumming his favorite country songs on his guitar. He also found entertainment in going fishing and gambling at casinos.

Albert will remain in the hearts of his sons, Roy (Cindy), and Clinton (Vicky); grandchildren, Joe (Marcy), Justin, Logan; Ashley and Wyatt; great-grandchildren, Alaina, Jaxon, and Reese; mother to his sons, Delana Choat; siblings, Shirley Rulon, Larry Sain, Charlene Strong, Darlene Phillips, Mayblene Eliott, and Kathlene Smith; and other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Rema; and brothers, Bobbie, Clifford, Freddy, John and Jim Sain.
