Alberta Marie Welch, a beloved mother, grandmother, and sister passed away on October 24, 2024, at the age of 83. Known for her fierce independence, creativity, and deep love for her family, Alberta left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Alberta was born on January 9, 1941, to parents Robert and Josephine Dean, throughout her life, she exemplified strength, resilience, and a witty and sometimes biting sense of humor. Starting her own daycare business, she dedicated herself to nurturing and caring for others, spreading love and mischief wherever she went.

She is survived by her loving children Cheryl (Richard Larsen) Welch and Jason Welch; grandchildren Jessica (Danny) Trenary, Samantha (Chad Harrington) O’Reilly, Alyxandra (Rob) Welch, Sydney Menkevich, Abigayle (James) Meyers, Allison Welch and Cassie Quist ; great grandchildren Neveah, Phoenix, Maverick, Jackson, Declan, Carson, Charlotte, Hutch, and Henry; siblings Patricia Saign, Mary Hiemark, Kathy Brink, Phyllis Dean, Tom (Noreen) Dean, David (Sharon) Dean, and Bill Dean, along with many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by parents Robert and Josephine; her daughter Deborah O’Reilly; grandson Zachary O’Reilly; siblings Bob Dean, Mike Dean, John Dean, Chuck Dean, and Dick Dean.
