Alfred W. Perrin, age 94 of Baldwin, passed away peacefully  March 17, 2015, at the Baldwin Area Medical Center.  Alfred was born October 23, 1920 in Beaver Township, WI, the oldest son of Elmer and Opal (Bosley) Perrin.  On March 31, 1956, he was united in marriage to Mae Doris Lovegren. In his early years, Alfred farmed with his brother and brother-in-law.  Most of his life, Alfred worked as an operating engineer running an asphalt paver in Rockford, IL.  He was a 50 year member of the Midwest Operating Engineers union.  Over the years Alfred and Mae made their home in Turtle Lake, Hammond, Rockford, IL, Amery and Apache Junction, AZ.  Most recently Alfred was residing at the Comforts of Home in Baldwin.

Alfred was preceded in death by his wife, Mae; his parents; his sisters, Alice and Helen, and his brothers, Dante, David, and Richard.  Alfred is survived by his brothers, Bruce and John (Darlene); sisters-in-law, Elva, Kathryn, Gladys, and Eleanor; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Memorial Service will take place at 10:30 AM on Saturday, April 18, 2015, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1250 Broadway, Hammond, with Pastor Michael Briggs officiating.  A gathering of family and friends will take place one hour prior to the service at church.  Interment will take place at the Hammond Cemetery.   A special thank you to the staff at Comforts of Home in Baldwin for their gracious and loving care of Alfred.  Memorials are preferred to the Trinity Lutheran Organ Fund.
