Alice Bleier

Alice Marie Bleier, age 97, of Hudson, passed away on February 2, 2011 at the Christian Community Home. She was born the daughter of William and Lena (Templin) Breslin on August 9, 1913 in Springfield Township, WI. In 1930, she graduated from Downing High School. Alice worked as a beautician at Harold’s Beauty Salon and she attended St. Patrick’s Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederic W. Bleier. Alice will remain in the hearts of her daughter, Anita M. “Nitzi” Kirby of Colorado and her grandsons, Kevin Kirby of Arizona (currently stationed in Afghanistan) and Shawn Kirby of Colorado; great-grandchildren (Kevin’s), Kaitlyn, Aidan and Kelsey. A Celebration of Alice’s Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, February 7th at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home in Hudson.
