Alice Mae Henrich, age 87 of Prescott, passed away March 22, 2020 at the Prescott Nursing and Rehab facility. Alice was born May 17, 1932 in Tyler, MN to Conrad and Clara (Nielsen) Nielsen. She graduated from Tyler High School, Class of 1950. Alice was united in marriage to James Edward Henrich on November 9, 1968. Their marriage was blessed with one son, Scott. Alice worked as a Production Specialist with 3M – Cottage Grove for 41 years, until her retirement in 1992. After retirement, Alice and Jim enjoyed traveling, spending time in the Webster, WI area, and enjoying their 2 grandsons, until Jim’s passing in 2014.

In her quiet time, Alice enjoyed crocheting, journaling, and birdwatching. Her heart was happiest when she was in the kitchen cooking for her family. She truly delighted in the presence of her family and friends, and was especially proud of her two grandsons.

Alice will remain in the hearts of her son, Scott (Amy) Henrich of Prescott, WI; grandsons, Andrew and Jake; and her beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim; brother, Bob Nielsen; sisters, Audrey Madsen and Delores Anderson.

Because of the coronavirus concern, funeral services for Alice will take place at a later date at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Prescott, WI.
