In Memory of Amanda Schwartz

Amanda Marie Schwartz, age 39 of Lakeland passed away unexpectedly March 26, 2020 at her home. Amanda was born on March 31, 1980 in St. Paul, Minnesota; the daughter of Michael Cooper and Glenda (Whitfield) Cooper. She attended Afton-Lakeland School prior to graduating from Stillwater High School. For the past few years, she has worked as a paraprofessional for the South Washington County School District 833. She thoroughly loved this job and being around children.

Amanda cherished being a mom. It gave her the greatest pleasure bopping around with them, going to the beach on the St. Croix River, or sitting by a bon fire telling stories with them. It was her greatest reward!

Her family was able to have their private goodbye’s at O’Connell Family Funeral Home in Hudson. Memorials are preferred and will be used towards her children’s future education. Memorials maybe be mailed to the O’Connell Family Funeral Home; 520 So. 11th Street, Hudson, WI 54016. Please keep this family close to your heart as they deeply grieve this overwhelming loss without having the opportunity to truly celebrate her life as they would have hoped.
