Andrew Peter Huppert of River Falls, WI passed away at the age of 78 on January 11, 2017. Andrew was born on June 28, 1938 in the Town of Oak Grove, Pierce County, WI. He was the fourth of 13 children born to Stephen and Carmen (Campbell) Huppert.

On Oct. 15, 1960 he married Janet Kusilek. Andrew worked at Smead Mfg. Co. in Hastings, MN for 12 years before purchasing the Kusilek dairy farm near River Falls, thus realizing his dream of being a dairy farmer. He remained active on the farm, even after moving into the City of River Falls, until his health limited his movement.

Andrew was an officer in the Pierce County Farmers Union and served on the River Falls School District Food Service Committee for many years. He enjoyed old tyme music, dancing, playing cards, promoting the benefits of drinking milk, and watching the RFD-TV Channel.

Andrew is lovingly survived by his wife Janet and his children: Boyd (Sheri) of Edina, MN; Jay (Lisa) of River Falls, WI; Blane (Sandy) of Woodbury, MN; LeAnn (Jeff) Nielsen of Henderson, MN and Jill (Jon) Hetelle of Bartlett, IL.

Also surviving are grandchildren: Sam (Bri), Matt, Jordan, Evan, Jericka, Zachary, Xavier and Quinn Huppert, Jamie (Kyle) Deiss, Justin (Kelly) Nielsen, Dayna (Max) Melby, and Troy and Ben Hetelle. Four great grandsons also survive.

He is also survived by siblings: Norman (Mary) of Ellsworth, WI; Dan (Fran) of River Falls; Patrick of Fort Madison, IA; Ron (Darlene) of Arkansaw, WI; Tom (Joanne) of Cottage Grove, MN; Tony (Trudy) of Baldwin, WI; Arlene Snoeyenbos, Tootie Wilbur (George Thoen) and Donna Huppert all of Ellsworth, Rose (Chuck) Conroy of Bay City, WI; and sister-in-law Marlyce Huppert of Prescott.

Preceding Andrew in death were his parents, sister Patricia, brother Allan, sister-in-law Pam and brother-in-law John Snoeyenbos.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:00 pm Saturday, January 14th at St. Bridget Catholic Church, River Falls, WI. Visitation will be 6:00-9:00 pm on Friday, January 13th at St. Bridget Catholic Church and from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday also at the church. Interment will be in St. Bridget Catholic Cemetery, River Falls, WI.
