Angel Wilkerson Johnson

Angel Wilkerson Johnson, age 50 of Arkansaw, WI passed away Thursday, February 7, 2019 at her home. She was born December 12, 1968 in Red Wing, MN; daughter of Bud and Rena (Armbruster) Hayes. Angel grew up in Ellsworth, WI.

She operated Angel’s Hwy 63 Diner in Ellsworth, WI for ten years. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Gordan “Gordy” Johnson and grandparents.

She was survived by her children, Hayden (Katie) Anderson, Nicholas (Jennifer) Linder, Cynthia Linder, Cody Jones and Leslie Young; her companion, Michael Tyler; also survived by her grandchildren, Makenzie, Temperance, Virginia, Alyce, Elizabeth, Addison, Harper, Nancy, Lola, Trinity, Taylor Sue, Carolina, Adam, Ramerio and Royalty; Angel’s brothers, Greg Hayes, Mike (Tracey) Hayes, Steve Hayes and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She loved her beloved dogs “the kids”, cat, farmhouse, flowers, birds, angels, dolphins and traveling. She has been reunited in heaven with her loving Husband Gordy to sit and watch the birds together again.

A funeral service will be Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at 11 am at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, N3699 730th Street, Ellsworth, WI. Visitation will be 4-7 pm Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at O’Connell-Benedict Family Funeral Home, 130 North Grant Street, Ellsworth and one hour prior to the service, at the church.

Interment will be in Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery.
