Anna Marie Peterson

Anna Marie Peterson, age 57, of New Richmond, Wisconsin, passed away on February 9, 2023, at Regions Hospital in St. Paul.  Anna was born on December 4, 1965, in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin, to Brian and Sandra (Lucken) Berg.  She attended Hudson High School and graduated in 1984.  On February 27, 1988 she was united in marriage with Bill Peterson, they welcomed their daughter Courtney the following year.  She worked more than 20 years as the administrative assistant at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church. Anna will be remembered as having a heart of gold, she was always thinking of others. She was a strong supporter of first responders and the military but had a special place in her heart for law enforcement.  Anna was a quick-witted mama bear, fierce friend, loyal acquaintance and strong in her faith. She enjoyed watching Gopher hockey, attended painting parties with friends, going on road trips and seeing new sights. She loved her family and cherished the moments she was able to spend with them, especially her grandson Grayson.

She is survived by her husband Bill, daughter Courtney, son-in-law Lee, grandson Grayson, parents Brian & Sandy, brother Eric.

A visitation will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday February 25, 2023 at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, 505 13 ^th St. S. Hudson. A celebration of life will immediately follow, beginning at 1:00 pm.
