Arlin Schoess

Arlin E. Schoess, of Stillwater, passed away suddenly on his 84th birthday – March 13, 2011. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Esther Schoess; brother, Lavern; and sister, Marilyn. He is survived by his brother, Alden (Merle) Schoess; several nieces and nephews; extended family and friends. The family gives special thanks to the caring staff at Golden Living Center-Greely in Stillwater.

Arlin’s memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 23rd at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, 14107 Hudson Rd. S., Afton. Visitation for one hour prior, from 10-11:00. For his service with the US Army, his interment will take place at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery with military honors. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the church. Services have been entrusted to the O’Connell Family Funeral Home and Countryside Crematory, 715-386-3725.
