Audrey Kanis

Audrey Kanis,  age 86 of Stillwater on January 3, 2025.

Audrey was a woman of extraordinary compassion, whose love for others was evident in everything she did. Her passion for hospitality and cooking brought joy and warmth to countless gatherings, where she often made everyone feel welcome and cherished. A talented seamstress, Audrey also found creative expression in painting and collecting beautiful items. Her affinity for flowers mirrored her nurturing spirit. Audrey’s faith was unwavering. She encouraged all not only to love the Lord but to live Christ-centered lives.
She will be missed by her husband Wayne; children Lynn (Dawn) Kanis, Debora (Greg) Kanis-Howell; grandchildren Jenifer (David) Kuhfuss, Nathan (Mackenzie) Kanis, Peter (Mikayla) Liu, Matthew Howell, Mikayla Howell; great-grandchildren Margaret “Maggie”, Ezra, Remington, Oakley, Presley, Ezekiel; brothers & sisters Verl (Vickie) Bleeker, Charlotte (Robert) Vier, Carol (Scott) Warren, Donald Bleeker; many nieces & nephews.

Preceded in death by great-grandson Maverick; parents William & Hazel Bleeker.

Visitation 10-11 AM with 11 AM Funeral Service Saturday January 11 at Crosswinds Community Church, 9125 Newgate Ave N. Stillwater. Burial Withrow Cemetery.
