Aurelia Grace Waznik, age 83, of Burkhardt died Friday, January 9th, 2015, quietly at home with her family.

Aurelia was born on a Kansas farm household on May 30th, 1931 along with twin brother Arthur Larson to Lars & Thelma Larson. She was longtime wife to Rev. Arnold H. Waznik, church secretary at Diamond Lake Lutheran Church for 7 years, and for both Redeemer Lutheran Church in Burkhardt, and Christ Lutheran Church in Somerset, WI for over 35 years with husband Arnold.

On September 7, 1957 in Kansas, she married Arnold H. Waznik.

Preceded in death by husband of 39 years, Pastor Arnold H. Waznik, parents Lars and Thelma Larson.

Surviving are three sons, Mark ( Holly ) of Fridley, MN, John of Suwanee, GA, and Brad (Marni ) of Menomonie, WI;  nine grandchildren, Carli, Christopher, Bryan, Ryan, Dana, Brett, Jaden, Jayli, and Jace, and nephew Kenny Waznik of Pennsylvania. Also surviving are siblings Esther Berg, Luther Larson, and Arthur Larson.

Visitation 5:00pm to 8:00pm, Friday, January 16th, at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Burkhardt, WI. Memorial service 11am, Saturday, January 17th, with fellowship to follow at Christ Lutheran Church in Somerset, WI. Private interment Willow River Cemetery in Hudson, all family members present. Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers to Salvation Army. O’Connell Funeral Home in Hudson assisted the family with arrangements.
