Barbara Diane Becker, “Bops”- River Falls, WI (1946-2015)

On October 23rd Barb became our guardian angel when she reunited with her adoring parents, Herb and Ethel Stores. It was a surprise that she left us on her 69th birthday, but it’s comforting to know that she has reunited with old friends and family and is now watching over the people she holds dear.

Barb was from Minneapolis, MN and the oldest of four children. She is survived by her adoring husband Harvey, to whom she was married for 49 years; her sons Patrick (Karen) and Jonathan (Lisa); two grandchildren Brent and Trevor; three brothers Kenneth (Elaine), Daniel (Maureen), and Greg Stores. She also leaves behind an abundance of beloved extended family and lifelong friends.

Barb thoroughly enjoyed her 36 year career with the United States Secret Service and cherished all her colleagues and friends from around the country and Canada. Barb loved welcoming people into her home and was an extraordinary entertainer. She was adventurous and loved to travel. She enjoyed music and going to concerts. She was an avid reader and an incredible cook. She loved her family deeply and was selflessly devoted to them.

We miss you Barb, and we thank you for your life, love and lessons. We will always remember your laughter, kindness, compassion and spunk. You were a generous spirit and we will treasure the many memories you have left for us. We will continue to live our lives as you inspired us to do. We love you Bops!
