  3. My favorite memories of Barbie were in Girl Scouts and having sleepovers. Our mothers’ were both troop leaders at some time. Eventually they signed off on us but we took on making plans for badge activities and community deeds ourselves. I remember planting flowers at the sign at the mill pond. We had so much fun playing games, reading comic books and magazines and eating at sleepovers. We made a chip dip out of cream cheese and dill, I think. One time we ate a lot of raw potatoes and got stomach aches. She was a smart, caring and fun friend.
