Beatrice M Curran, age 86, died on Sunday, January 12, 2014. Bea, the only child of Stanley and Agnes (Paske) Lavender, was born in Chicago, IL on June 27, 1927. She was united in marriage to Charles Curran on June 10, 1950.  They raised three sons in the Chicago area, where Bea was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing, knitting and reading.  Bea and her husband moved to Phoenix, AZ in 1987.  She moved to Hudson, WI in 2010 where she resided with her son’s family, then Red Cedar Canyon Assisted Living, and most recently, Comforts of Home.  Bea was a gentle, quiet lady who will be missed by her family. 

Bea is survived by her three sons, Ray (Nena) Curran of Corpus Christi, TX, Bob (Chris) Curran of Hudson, WI and Dave (Cindy) Curran of Phoenix, AZ and grandchildren, Trisha and Jenny of TX, Kate, Pat and Joe of WI and Selena, Cristina and Kevin of AZ.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles and her infant son, Patrick.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Bea will be held at 4pm on Sunday, January 19, 2014 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Hudson, WI.  Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to services at the church.  In lieu of flowers, memorials can be donated to St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Bea’s memory.  Services are in the care of the O’Connell Family Funeral Home – Hudson Chapel.  715.386.3725
