Betty Jean Marek Olson, age 79, passed away April 30, 2014, after a short illness.

Betty lived in Danbury, WI until September of 2013 when she moved back to Liberty, MO to be near her family.

Betty was born July 27, 1934 in Bloomer, WI. She graduated from Hudson High School in 1953. Betty married Dick Adams and they had three children. She raised her family in Liberty, MO and worked at the North Kansas City Memorial Hospital. Ironically, she worked on the 5th floor of that hospital throughout her career and died on that floor.

Betty is survived by her daughters, Jodi Cedar (Brad) and Ricki Apple (Tom); 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Sharon Marek Stewart (Ron) and Audrey Marek Barr (Charlie). She is preceded in death by her son, Mitch.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial was held May 5, 2014 at St. James Catholic Church in Liberty, MO. Interment was at Willow River Cemetery in Hudson, WI.
