Beulah Faye Fredrick, age 86, passed away October 4, 2017, at Brook Gardens assisted living in Lake Mills, WI. Beulah was born, on September 2, 1931, in Woodville, WI, the daughter of Henry and Emily (Myrvold) Wallesverd. Beulah was united in marriage to Gordon “Bud” Frederick.

Beulah worked as registered nurse in clinics in California and Washburn, Wisconsin, in hospitals in West Bend and Wausau, WI, and for Public Health in Marathon County. Beulah was proud of her Norwegian heritage and was a member of Sons of Norway in Live Oak, California and in Washburn & Woodville, WI.   She also enjoyed cohorting with other women while attending the functions of the Red Hat Society.

Beulah was sad to have left her childhood home of Woodville at the time of her husband Bud’s death and often told stories of time they spent with friends.  Beulah’s health failed in her later years and was unable to travel back to visit her Woodville family.

Beulah will remain in the hearts of her daughters, Lani (partner Shirley Wickersham) Urbas and Susan (Kevin) Williamson; grandsons, Simon Dettinger & Connor Williamson; granddaughters, Catherine Urbas and Emma Urbas.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Bud; her sister, Yvonne Tulgran; and brothers Jim Wallesverd & Jerry Wallesverd.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 27th at Zion Lutheran Church in Woodville, WI.  In lieu of flowers please send memorials to one of Beulah’s church homes: Zion Lutheran Church or Trinity Lutheran Church, 346 W. Pine Street, Lake Mills, WI 53551.
