Billy Ray Marcus, age 82 of Ellsworth, WI passed away January 28, 2015 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born February 23, 1932 in Clayton, GA. Billy served in the military as a U.S. Marine. On April 6, 1966 he was united in marriage to LaVerle (Kinneman) Kohl in Greenville, SC. He was known for jobs in the area over the years: taxi cab in River Falls, WI, janitorial at Kolpac in River Falls, WI, mobile home transport in Prescott, WI.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Etta Duckett; father,Connie Marcus; loving parents, Alf and Eula Woodring; brother, Ralph Duckett; son, Billy Joe Marcus; grandson, Jon Anderson.

Billy is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, LaVerle Marcus of Ellsworth, WI; his children, Carroll Marcus of Mt. Vernon, IN, Sheri (Demont) Anderson of Mt.
