Bradley J. Kaufman, age 56 of Ellsworth, died peacefully following a courageous battle with cancer on Friday morning, January 20th at Kinnic Health and Rehab in River Falls.
He was born on August 1, 1960 in Plum City, WI, to Douglas and Jean (Ebensperger) Kaufman.
He was preceded in death by his father, Douglas E. Kaufman and step father James H. Hovde.
Brad is survived by his mother, Jean Hovde of Ellsworth; brother, Michael (Elizabeth) Kaufman of Phoenix, AZ; sisters, Michele Valk of Waukee, IA and Judy(Tom) Afdahl of Ellsworth; beloved nieces and nephews and lifelong friend and “brother”, James Klaas, Ellsworth.
Mass of Christian Burial 11:30 a.m. Monday, January 23, at St. Francis Catholic Church, Ellsworth, visitation 10-11:30 a.m. at the church.
The family of Bradley J. Kaufman would like to thank, Kinnic Health and Rehab, St. Croix Hospice, as well as the team of Doctors and Specialists responsible for his care during his two year battle with cancer. Their level of professionalism and compassion was a comfort to Brad and the family.
