Brian Gale

Brian Richard Gale, age 48 of River Falls/Prescott, died peacefully at home on May 14th, 2023, following a courageous battle with glioblastoma. Brian is survived by his wife and best friend Jessica; children Grace, Afton, Lucas, Manny, and Sam; parents Rick Gale and Ann Gale; siblings Sean (Virginia) Gale and Nicole (Jonas) Croft, father-in-law Jim Volk, father-in-law Bob Locke, sisters-in-law Becca (Andy) Wutkowski and Emily Locke, and many aunts and uncles, and nieces and nephews.  In death, Brian was reunited with his infant son Elijiah, mother-in-law Kathleen Locke, Uncle Bob Espeseth; cousin Jackson Espeseth; beloved grandparents Faye and Ben Espeseth, and Keith & Margie Gale.

Brian was born on July 9, 1974 in Memphis, TN, and the family moved to Prescott when Brian was very young. He attended Malone Elementary School prior to graduating from Prescott High School in 1993.  He would further his education at St. Paul Technical College, where he trained as an electrician. Brian worked for Total Construction at the Flint Hills Refinery for twenty years where he developed many meaningful friendships. On August 31, 2002, he walked down the aisle at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Prescott where he said, “I Do!” to Jessica Ann Volk. Together, they were blessed with six beautiful children and have made Clifton Township their home.

Brian was gifted with an ability to troubleshoot and fix just about anything you put in front of him. He enjoyed spending time working on vehicles, and various projects around the Gale family home, which he took part in  building. He enjoyed hunting with his sons on their family land  near Westfield, WI, watching movies with all of the kids, and was always making everyone laugh with his jokes and pranks. Brian was an avid Green Bay Packer fan. He loved watching the game with friends, particularly when the Packers were winning. Brian gave his all in his battle with glioblastoma. He wanted to be strong for others and spend as much time with his family as he could. Both he and Jessica were continuously amazed by the love and support they received from family, friends, his Total/Flint Hills family, and the entire Prescott community.

Currently, a private service is being held for immediate family, and a public celebration of life is being planned for summer and will be announced then. Interment will be in the Westfield East Cemetery. Memorials will be used for his children’s wellbeing and schooling and may be mailed to the funeral home. Funeral and cremation have been entrusted to the O’Connell Family Funeral Home, PO Box 154, Prescott, WI. 54021.
