Brigitte Rollins

Brigitte Liselotte Rollins, age 86, of Hudson, WI passed away peacefully on June 30, 2023, after a long history of health challenges. She was born to Kurt and Margaret Willert on July 16, 1936, in Berlin, Germany. Brigitte attended High School in Germany. She met and married David Lee Rollins on June 8, 1962, while he was stationed in the Army in Berlin. After his discharge, they moved to Milwaukee, WI and later settled in Oconomowoc, WI where they had two children and lived until 1985.

Brigitte was unforgettable if you had the chance to meet her; she enjoyed tending to her vegetable gardens, enjoying the wildlife in her yard, shopping at garage sales, and especially liked to cook and bake; she was famous for her homemade sauerkraut and holiday stollens. Brigitte also enjoyed many trips returning to spend time with family and friends in her homelands of Germany and Poland. Perhaps her favorite pastime of all was spending time with her three grandchildren.

Brigitte is survived by her husband of 61 years, David; her daughter, Christine; her son Mitch (Kellyn); along with three grandchildren Kaya (19), Nate (8), and Kenzie (5). She was preceded in death by her parents, Klaus Willert (brother) and Waltraud Weeks (sister).

The family will have a private celebration of her life.
