Sanford Brink, age 79 of Hudson died peacefully Saturday January 19th, 2019 at Pine Ridge Garden in Hudson. Sanford was born on December 20, 1939 in St. Paul, Minnesota; the son of Milton and Lenore (Boldt) Brink. He was raised in St. Paul graduating from Johnson High School. He would further his schooling with a major in fish and wildlife management. Over the years, he worked in different industries from grocery stores, stock brokerage business, real estate, and to owning and operating self storage units. On June 20, 1981, he was united in marriage to his best friend Linda Schwegman at North Heights Church in St. Paul.

His hobbies and interest included fishing, golfing, investing, and sunsets.

He is survived by his family: wife: Linda, children: Hans, Christopher, Amy, and JT, grandchildren:  Adrienne, Evan, Chelsea, Alex, and Ava, sisters:  Nancy and Carmen, and aunt Audrey. 

A Celebration of Life for Sanford will be 11AM Saturday, May 18th at Cross Lutheran Church in Roberts with Pastor Durk Peterson presiding. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial at the Willow River Cemetery in Hudson following the service and lunch.  Memorials will be used to further Sanford’s memory for Parkinsons research.  Funeral services entrusted to the O’Connell Family Funeral Homes.
