Carol Ann Johnson, an accountant with Thomas Reuters and life-long resident of Prescott, WI, died unexpectedly on January 7th, 2021 at the age of 57 years.  She graduated from Prescott High School and continued her education at Dakota County Technical College earning an Accounting Degree.

Carol is survived by her life partner, Mike Larson; daughter, Marie Josephine Larson; sister, Pamela (James) Glennie; brothers, Jeff (Tracy) and Brian (Rae); nieces, Mckenna, Jade, June (Michelle) and Skye; stepson, Tyler; nephews, Jeremy (Lynn), Andrew and Cooper.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Jane Johnson and father, Gordon Meredith Johnson.

Carol was a devoted mother to Marie and loved taking her to play bingo in Prescott, River Falls and Ellsworth, Wisconsin. They also enjoyed going to movies prior to COVID-19.   She enjoyed sewing, reading, volunteering at the VFW Chicken Fry and Prescott Food Shelf, as well as volunteering at the Bingo Hall, and was a continuous blood donar for the Red Cross.

A Celebration of Carol’s Life will be held 4:00 – 7:00 PM Monday, May 3, 2021 at the Old Ptaceks Event Center, 1449 Orrin Rd., Prescott.  Private interment will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Prescott.  In honoring Carol, please feel free to dress casual and come as you are.
