Carol Belisle

Carol Ann Belisle, age 70 of Hudson died Saturday August 11th, 2012 at Woodwinds Hospital in Woodbury. Carol was born on September 23, 1941 in Baldwin, Wisconsin; the daughter of Ingebrit and Alvera (Dedrickson) Sundt. She was raised in Hudson where she attended school and graduated from high school. On September 29, 1958, she was united in marriage to her best friend Donald Belisle in Great Lakes, Illinois. To this union, children Scott, Keith, and Jill were blessed. Although she was a devoted mom and wife, she enjoyed her time spent working as a teller for Cosmopolitan Bank in Stillwater and later First State Bank in Bayport. All together, she worked thirty years in banking. She enjoyed crocheting, found it difficult to pass up a good craft fair, and taught others how to play the accordion when she was younger. She was a Daniel Steele and James Patterson fan as she loved their books. Furthermore, she loved traveling to special places as Norway, eating out at new restaurants, and shopping at the malls with Jill. But all in all, her family was number one in her heart. She had the biggest heart and showed others how to love and care for others. She never missed a birthday or school program and her goodbyes often left her seeing you off with a warm smile waving goodbye in the doorway.  She’s still waving, however it is at the heaven’s gate welcoming loved ones in.

Carol will live on in the hearts of her husband of 52 years Don, children Scott (Tracie) Belisle of Somerset, Keith (Janice) Belisle of Roberts, Jill (Steve) Golubic of Hudson, grandchildren Kevin and Shannon Belisle, Jason (fiancee Shae) Belisle, Tyler Belisle, Joe, Nic, and Amanda Golubic, great-granddaughter Amelia, brothers Ronald (Bonnie) Sundt of Luck, Dennis (Pat) Sundt of Woodbury, as well as many other relatives. Her parents preceded her in death.

Celebration of her life will be 2PM Friday August 17 at Bethel Lutheran HIGHLANDS Church, 504 Frontage Road, Hudson. Burial will be at the Willow River Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Thursday from 5 until 8PM at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home in Hudson as well as one hour prior to the service at church on Friday afternoon. Memorials preferred.
