Carol L. Wenner

Carol L. Wenner, age 69 of Hudson WI, and formerly of River Falls WI. Born December 18, 1940, passed away on October 9, 2010. She was born in Ladysmith, WI, graduated from Rice Lake High School and attended UW-RF.

Survived by children: Jim Lauber (Kelly), Huntley, IL.; Jill Lauber (Jay Herum), Jenny Rivard (Steve), Colleen Jahnke (Nick) and grandchildren: Riley and Reece Jahnke, Jake, Hayden and Brooks Rivard all of River Falls, WI. She is also survived by sister Patricia Wenner Reisinger (David) of Colfax, WI. Further survived by many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents Donald and Hazel (Johnson) Wenner and former spouse John (Jake) Lauber.

A great joy in her life was spending summers with family and friends at Island Lake. Most times you could find her playing cards or a mean game of Scrabble.

Carol spent the last two years at Christian Community Home, Hudson. The attention and care of it’s dedicated staff lightened her burden of Alzheimer’s and was a great comfort and help to her children and family.
