Chad R. Hillman

Chad Ryan Hillman, age 49, of New Richmond, WI, passed away on December 27, 2024 at Westfields Hospital in New Richmond. Chad was born on December 1, 1975 to parents Leon and Sharon Hillman. He graduated from St. Croix Central High School and worked as a crane operator for LaVenture Crane and Rigging

Chad found joy in the great outdoors. He loved spending his time fishing, mountain biking, and agate hunting, he was also was a proud Minnesota Vikings fan. An artist at heart, Chad was skilled in drawing and he will always be remembered for his kind heart and his great sense of humor.

He is survived by his Fiancé Jenny Grass; daughter Meghan Hillman; mother Sharon (Ed) Triebold; sister Jessie (Jim) LaVenture; nephews Jimmy LaVenture and Jake LaVenture, along with many uncles, aunts, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his dad Leon Hillman: grandparents Glenn and Iola Hillman, Frank and Opal Porter; uncle Frank Porter

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025 at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home in Hudson, WI from 5:00-7:00 p.m., memorials are preferred to the family.
