Charles (Chuck) Langer, age 84, of Baldwin passed away peacefully at the Hammond Care Center.
Chuck was born on November 13, 1938 to Charles and Bernice (Julson) Langer. He grew up on the farm in Baldwin and graduated from Hammond High School.
Chuck was drafted into the Army and served his duty and was discharged with honors.
He worked at 3M in St. Paul and later drove truck until his retirement. He retired to the family farm and took pride in his farm and his Herferd cattle.
Chuck met the love his life, Margaret Shipp, and they shared 25 years of happiness and joy together. Chuck and Margaret enjoyed watching Gunsmoke and the Green Bay Packers together.
Chuck is survived by Margaret; nieces and nephews: Eugene (Sandy) Veenendall, Mary Lou (Tom) Levi, Barb (Larry) Anderson, Larry (Diane) Veenendall, Nancy (Glen) Haines, Rick (Beth) Nicholson, Mary White; and Margaret’s sons: Matthew (Stephene) Shipp, Josh Shipp, Lily Shipp, and Isaiah Shipp.
Chuck is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Bernice (Julson) Langer; sisters, Gloria (Ed) Veenendall and Donna Nicholson; nephew, Ed Nicholson; and nephew-in-law, Doug White.
A private family celebration of Chuck’s life will be held at a later date.
