Charles Edward Stephenson

Charles Edward Stephenson Jr., a beloved husband, brother, and friend, departed peacefully on July 10, 2024, at the age of 70.

Charlie was a mail carrier for the US Postal Service for 32 years. His last area of service was in
Woodbury MN.

A man of diverse interests, Charlie found joy in crafting wood in his shop and spending time watching various genres of movies, from westerns to British detective mysteries and sci-fi adventures. He enjoyed the Christmas season, especially the music. 4th of July was also a favorite of his as he liked to shoot off fireworks. One of Charlie’s prize possessions was his John Deere 4100 utility tractor.

Known for his warmth and sociable nature, Charlie cherished companionship and had a soft spot for his pets – dog Gunner, cats Remy and Finley. His genuine love for people made him eager to make new acquaintances and could always find something to talk about.

He will be missed deeply by his wife Kandy, his sisters; Nancy (Paul) Beaurline, and Peggy Harvey. Also his nieces, nephews and dear friends, including the furry ones.

Charlie was proceeded in death by his parents; Charles Sr. and Betty Stephenson, his brother; William Stephenson, and his sister; Linda Evans

In celebration of his life, a visitation will be held at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Burkhardt, WI on July 19, 2024, at 4:30 pm, followed by a memorial service at 5:30 pm. A luncheon will take place after services to honor and celebrate the wonderful memories shared with Charles.
