Christopher Reynolds

Christopher Reynolds, aged 53, of Prescott, died unexpectedly on October 17th at his residence from an apparent heart attack.

Chris was born on June 10, 1970, in Shakopee, Minnesota, as the son of Gregory and Shirley Vollmer Reynolds. Growing up in Shakopee, he graduated from Shakopee High School as part of the Class of ’88. He furthered his education, receiving training in magnetic resonance imaging, more commonly known as MRIs. He briefly worked at area hospitals and worked many years at Fairview Lakes Medical Center in Wyoming, Minnesota prior to his death. Christopher’s greatest blessing in life was undoubtedly the birth of his son, Wyatt. He centered his life around Wyatt, deeply engaging with him, always there to support and guide him. He learned how to play Minecraft, ensured their vacations were extra special, and enjoyed researching genealogy together. Chris took immense pride in his ancestry, evident through his photos and collections, including his father’s United States flag from his service in the Armed Forces. His love for history was well-suited as he volunteered as an Archive Curator at St. Joseph’s Hospital, reviewing, organizing, and preserving items rich in historical importance.

Chris will be fondly remembered by his son, Wyatt, as well as Wyatt’s mother Jessica Prindle and her son, Noah. He is also survived by his siblings: Debbie (Mike) Seiberlich, Dennis (Jackie) Reynolds, Jenny Reynolds, and sister-in-law Karen Reynolds. He leaves behind nieces and nephews: Dan (Sara) Seiberlich, Erin (Jay) Singerman, Samantha (Jessie) Watson, Shawn (Haley) Rosaasen, , Jim (Candy) Weber, Tony (Coco) Weber, Alex Reynolds. His parents and brother, Dave, precede him in death.

A Celebration of Life for Chris will take place at 4 PM on Friday, November 3rd, at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home, located at 1339 Orrin Road in Prescott. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to support the well-being of his adolescent son. Cremation and memorial services are entrusted to the O’Connell Family Funeral Home of Prescott.
