Clarence Eugene Hudson, age 87, of New Centerville, WI, passed away at home the afternoon of Tuesday, September 15, 2020. Clarence was born to parents Alfred & Evangeline (nee Hojem) Hudson in Hammond, WI on May 30, 1933. His family soon moved to the Martell, WI area where Clarence attended school before moving on to the workforce. Clarence was a talented mechanic & hard worker all his life. He worked for Ford for 21 years before moving on to work on large farm machinery & equipment for Equity in River Falls, WI for 10 years, John Deere in Prescott, WI for 5 years, then on to work for Wally Shefland & “Junior” Hovde in his later years. When Clarence wasn’t working on cars or tractors, he enjoyed working with horses. He loved to take ride on his motorcycle, his most recent being a Honda CB900 Custom. Clarence was a member of a local motorcycle club, & would often take extended trips on the bike with his wife, Audrey. Clarence & Audrey Walker were wed on October 2, 1954, & were blessed with five children; Steven, Karen, Beth, Barbara, & Philip. Clarence was immensely proud of his family, & the life lessons & spirited conversations he shared with them will remain in their hearts forever.

Clarence is survived by his children, Steve (Dena) Hudson of New Centerville, WI, Karen (Jim) Paul of Mora, MN, Beth (Wade) Anderson of Menomonie, WI, Barb (Orville) Scott of Menomonie, WI, & Philip (Becky) Hudson of Spring Valley, WI; numerous grandchildren & great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Audrey; & his parents, Alfred & Evangeline.
