Clark Goodwin

Clark Lee “Froggy” Goodwin, age 68 of Ellsworth WI, died unexpectedly on Saturday, December 5, 2020 as the result of an ATV accident. Born on April 7, 1952 to Frank and Delores Goodwin in Williston ND. After moving to Ellsworth with his family, Clark began grade school in Ellsworth, and graduated from Ellsworth High School with the Class of 1972. Clark served his country in the United States Navy, and later in the United States Army.

Clark logged many miles over the road as a truck driver for many years. He was very active in the Rod and Gun Club, the American Cancer Society, the VFW, the American Legion, and an ATV Club member. Clark enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping, as well as playing cards and billiards. He also enjoyed working around the yard, spending time with his family, his many nieces and nephews, and helping friends and neighbors.

Clark is survived by his significant other of thirty years, Tammy Larson; his children, Jenena McHenry, Bobbie Gean Goodwin, Jessica (Chris) Goodwin, Brandie (Casey)  Elders, Cassie (Adam) Tadej, and Chase (Karlie) Thomas-Goodwin; grandchildren, Zachary, Jakobi, Bracin, Hunter, Morgan, Logan, Jettsyn, Devin, Dakota, Tristin, Allysha, Ashten, Brayden, and Israel; great-granddaughter, Alalah; sister, Diane (Eric) Makela; brothers, Frank (Lila) Goodwin, and Rodney Goodwin; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Clark was preceded in death by his parents; an infant brother; and many other family members.

To honor Clark Goodwin, a Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, December 11th beginning at 2:00pm, at the El Paso Bar & Grill, W4277 County Road G in Ellsworth WI. Cremation services entrusted to the O’Connell-Benedict Funeral Home of Ellsworth. 715-273-4421
