Constance Rose Viesselman, age 68 of River Falls WI, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at United Hospital in St Paul MN. Connie was born February 28, 1952 in River Falls WI to parents Severt and Adeline (Dusek) Warnberg.   Connie attended school in River Falls, and graduated from River Falls High School with the Class of 1970. She was united in marriage to Nickolas D. Thompson. Though the marriage later dissolved, three daughters were born to this union: Michele, Heather, and Corin. Connie was later re-married to Edward Viesselman, who preceded her in death in 2002.

Many will remember Connie from her work at the Holiday store in Roberts for many years. Outside of work, Connie cherished time spent with loved ones at family get-togethers, and being “Grandma V”. She enjoyed her grand-dogs, card games, working on crosswords and word puzzles, playing Yahtzee, and going to Bingo. Connie also enjoyed TV shows like Walker Texas Ranger and Law & Order. Those who know Connie well, also know of her collection and affection for owls.

Connie is survived by her three daughters, Michele Hintzman, Heather (Aaron) Will, and Corrie (Trevor Mavis) Teske; grandchildren, Randall Rock, and Emerald and Samantha Will; sisters, Marilyn (Ron) Antiel, and Linda Vold; nieces and nephew, Angie, Stephanie, Jeff, and Tami; and many great-nieces and great-nephews; former spouse, Nick Thompson; and many good friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Edward Viesselman.

To celebrate the life of Connie Viesselman, a gathering of family and friends will take place from 3:00-6:00pm on Monday, June 8, 2020 at the O’Connell-Benedict Family Funeral Home, 225 So. 3rd Street in River Falls. No formal service will be held. Memorials honoring Connie may be directed to the discretion of the family.
