Corinne Edith Greenhalgh was born in Manistee, Michigan. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University and her graduate degree from the University of Michigan. She was an English teacher for several years, and retired in 1989 from Control Data where she had worked for 15 years in production management.

Corinne is survived by her three children, Eric Greenhalgh of Apple Valley, Kurt Greenhalgh of Duluth and Jill Greenhalgh (Rolf Dittmann) of Stillwater, as well as three grandchildren: Andrea, Drew and Luke Dittmann, and other family members. Last year, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert.

Corinne and Bob lived in Hudson for 30 years before moving to Croixdale in Bayport about two years ago. She had been active at Bethel Lutheran Church of Hudson, especially in the Naomi Circle and the welcoming committee. Corinne was always reading and had great taste in fashion. She shared several interests with her husband: the theater, travel, watching collegiate and professional sports, especially the Minnesota teams, and spending time with family and friends. Her happy, good natured spirit will be missed by all.

A funeral service will be held for Corinne at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, May 25th at Bethel Lutheran Church, 920 Third St in Hudson. Visitation one hour prior to the service. Pastor Dennis Nelson will officiate. Services have been entrusted to O’Connell Family Funeral Home and Countryside Crematory, 715-386-3725.
