Cory Scott Johnson, age 32 of Baldwin WI, passed away on Sunday, July 31st, as the result of a motor vehicle accident. Cory was born August 8, 1978 in Woodville WI to parents Richard and Francene (Duval) Johnson. Cory attended Glenwood City High School, and graduated with the Class of 1997. Currently Cory was working production with the Andersen Windows Corporation.

Outside of work, Cory could be found outdoors. He enjoyed motorcycle rides on his Harley, hunting and being out in the woods, and cutting and splitting wood by hand. Cory also enjoyed working on and perfecting his cooking skills, and lending a hand to others when they needed his help. Cory was a good dad, and liked taking his girls out for dinner, to a movie, and to go swimming. He also shared his love of the outdoors with them, taking them fishing and camping. Cory was a big-hearted guy who loved spending time with family and friends. His smile and affection will be missed by his family, and those who knew him best.

Cory is survived by his daughters, Megan (10) and Emma (7); his step-son Devon; his parents, Rick and Francene Johnson of Woodville; brothers, Chad Johnson of Oahu HI, and Jeremy (Yvonne) Johnson of Baldwin; nephews, Logan and Grady Johnson of Baldwin; maternal grandmother, Adelaide Duval of Glenwood City; special friend, Tracy Deal and her daughter Paityn; former wife and mother to his daughters, Melody; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and good friends. Cory was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Lloyd and Eleanor Johnson; and maternal grandfather, Milton Duval.

A Memorial Service for Cory Johnson will be held at 3:00PM on Saturday, August 6th at the First Baptist Church, 581 Old County Road B, in Woodville, with Pastor Dennis Tapp officiating. Visitation will be held at the church, beginning at 12:00 Noon. Memorials are preferred to the discretion of the family.
