Dale Burmeister

Dale Clarence Burmeister, 83, of Isle, MN, born August 27, 1940, passed away on May 12, 2024 at home with his family by his side. Dale and Ella were married January 16, 1960 sharing a life and love that inspired all that knew them.

Dale enjoyed all things outdoors and cherished spending time with his family at the family cabin. His favorite times were spent on the snowmobile or side-by-side with family and friends. He was an avid fisherman logging many trips for Salmon, walleye, tullibee and smelt “hunting”, with so many stories to share. He enjoyed the thrill and noise of the casino And the peace and tranquillity in camping. Dale’s love for his grandchildren was unmatched, always supporting them at their events whether hockey games or dance recitals. His great grand daughter was his special buddy who brought his biggest smiles each day. Dale retired from the Carpenters union after 50 years in the trade.

His memory will forever be in the hearts of those closest to him: Daughters- Beckie (Don) Burmeister, Shelley (Jeff) Kunde, Grandkids- Heather (Mike) Burmeister, Missa (George) Kunde, Great granddaughter- EllaMae, Brother Duane (Maggie) Burmeister, Sisters in Law – Shirley Anderson and Jean Witter, and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Dale was preceded in death by: the love of his life, his Wife Ella, Infant Son- William, Parents- Melvin and Helen Burmeister, father and mother in law – William and Vesta Owen, Brothers in law, Sister in law, and Nephew

Services for Dale will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home in Baldwin, WI. Visitation will begin at 10am with a service to follow at 11am.
