Daniel Russell “Danny” Francis, age 52 of New Richmond, passed away peacefully August 22, 2015 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul.

Danny was born on April 24, 1963 in Baldwin, WI, the son of Bernard and Beola (Fuller) Francis. He grew up and attended school in New Richmond. Danny worked as a mechanic, fixing anything from automobiles to farm machinery. He was a caring and compassionate man that would help anyone or anything in need of assistance. Danny loved spending time with him mother and his nieces and nephews. He enjoyed deer hunting and fishing with his friends.

Danny will remain in the hearts of his brother, David (Marlene) Francis; sisters, LaVon (Mitchel) Johnson, Judy (Kent) Paulson, Carol Francis, Robin (Deallen) Pfeiffer; nieces, Credence, Elsie, Karissa, and Ruth; nephews, James, Matthew, Mitchel, Micha, Daniel, Deontay, and Demitry; and 16 great-nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and nephew Martin Johnson.

A Celebration of Danny’s Life will be held beginning at 3:00 p.m. Friday, August 28 at the Wildwood Bar & Restaurant, 121 East River Street, Woodville.
