David A. Clark, age 77, of Hudson, WI passed on peacefully at his home on August 27, surrounded by his family. He had courageously fought a 20 month battle with stage 4 lung cancer, and was under the wonderful care of Lakeview Hospice.
He was born on October 21, 1932 in Columbus, OH. He graduated from OSU and married the love of his life, Carolyn Peel on December 20, 1953. They were blessed with three children. David had worked as a Quality Control Statistician at Honeywell/Alliant Tech for 10 years and at 3M for 19 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening.
David is survived by his wife of 56 years, Carolyn; 3 children: Al (Lori Ann) Clark, Stephen (Chris) Clark, and Christine (Craig) Flechsig; 8 grandchildren: Cassandra, Jefferson, Suzannah & Daniel Clark, Adam (Natalia), Cody & Conner Flechsig, and Emily (Jacob) Usinowicz; 2 great-grandsons, Hayden & Trilian; nieces, nephews, cousins & many friends.
A memorial service will be held for David at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 24th at the First Presbyterian Church in Stillwater, MN. Visitation for one hour prior to the service. His body was donated to the U of MN. The O’Connell Family Funeral Home of Hudson assisted the family, 715-386-3725.
