David Allen Johnson, passed away on August 26, 2024 at the Baldwin Care Center. David was born on November 29, 1961, to parents Robert and Judy (Zoya) Johnson. David graduated from Baldwin Woodville High School and worked at Rise Inc. for 41 years. David took great pride in his work and went to work with a smile on his face each day. David brought joy and laughter to all who knew him with his infectious sense of humor and playful teasing nature.

David had a passion for collecting matchbox cars and was a devoted fan of Jeff Gordon, often found cheering on both the Vikings and NASCAR with enthusiasm. His love for traveling took him to many wonderful places, where he always found joy in exploring new sights and experiences. He also loved to ride in the side by side and dance.

Those who knew David understood his unconditional love for his four-legged companion and his affinity for satisfying his sweet tooth. His warm smile and kind heart touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all.

He will remain in the hearts of his sister, Christy (Dennis) Gordon; niece and nephews Brian (Alexa), Todd (Julie), and Kristen; and great nieces and nephews, Brady, Logan, Trent, Brooke and Ashley. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Donald Johnson.

A memorial service will be held on September 7, at his sister’s home, at 11:00 a. m and Interment will take place alongside his parents and brother at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in New Centerville.
