David G. Bull obit

David George Bull, age 64 of Maiden Rock, WI, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at the River Falls Area Hospital. Dave was born July 14, 1956 in Saint Paul, MN, to parents John S. and Alice M. (Puig) Bull. Dave attended school in South Saint Paul, graduating with the Class of 1974. On August 5, 1978, David was united in marriage to Michelle Chermak. Their union in marriage was blessed with a son, a daughter, four grandchildren, and over 42 years of love and devotion.

David worked for 35 years as a building chief with Independent School District 196 in Rosemount. Outside of work, Dave loved to work and play outdoors, and take in the beauty of nature. He enjoyed hunting all kinds of animals, especially deer, and loved to fish for walleyes and panfish. Dave fulfilled a longtime wish when he moved outside of Maiden Rock and began living on a hobby farm. It was there that he raised chickens, sold eggs, fed the birds and deer, and grew an abundance of vegetables in his garden each year. Dave took pleasure in watching the History channel and dabbling in antiques, and traveling to destinations such as Norway and Alaska with Michelle. Above all, Dave cherished time spent with his loving family and his grandchildren, whom he adored. He will be missed by family and friends alike.

David is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Michelle; his son, Mike (Rebecca) Bull; his daughter, Jaimie (Dan) Forkrud; his grandchildren, Kodi, Anna, Lauryn, and Nolan; his siblings, Teresa (Steve) Manhart, Donna Cahoon, Charlie (Pernella) Bull, and Kenny Bull; brother-in-law, Scott (Sue) Chermak; sister-in-law, Tammy (Jeff) McKissock; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; along with his best buddy, his German Shepherd, Max.
