David “Dave” Harden 66, passed away on March 8, 2014, from a short battle with cancer, surrounded by his loving family.David was born on March 21, 1947, in Lafayette, Indiana, to Alva Kenneth and Elizabeth Harden. When he was very young he then moved to Siren, Wisconsin and went to school there. He joined the army in 1966 and was stationed in Germany until 1968. In 1997 he married Diane Raechke, and brought two children from a previous marriage. He later moved to Ellsworth, and worked at Meyer Industries in Hager City, Wisconsin for 39 years, and retired in 2011. Upon retirement he worked two years at the Ellsworth golf course.David enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding his Harley, being with family, friends and his dog Jack.David is survived by his wife Diane, son, Jeff Harden, Red Wing, MN, daughter Kris Harden(Partner Jess), La Crosse, WI, two step sons, James Sieg(Krystal), Ellsworth, WI ,Richard Sieg(Bobbie), Spring Valley, WI, and eight grandchildren, and nieces and nephews and other relatives.He was preceded in death by his father, mother, brothers, father in-law, Ralph Raechke, & mother in-law Shirley Raechke.
