David R. Durnbaugh

David R. Durnbaugh, age 75, passed peacefully on Thursday, February 22, 2024, at his home in River Falls, Wisconsin.

David (aka Dave, D ² , Quinn, mon, pops, dork, captain, Davey, bud) led a full life. He racked up 16 speeding tickets the year he turned 16. He joined the army out of high school and could tell a tale or two about his time in Korea. He met his wife at the University of Michigan. They didn’t quite make it to their 50 ^th anniversary, but boy did they have some good times. He had a strong work ethic and worked in banking, meat-packing, tech support, and even did a brief stint for the USPS. He provided lovingly for his family. Dogs have been named after him! He once got a perm! He thoroughly enjoyed sports, fishing, his daily crossword puzzles, James Bond movies, wood-working, motorcycles, photography and ruthlessly teasing his kids.

Dave is survived by loving wife Mary, sister Nancy, daughter Maria (Matthew), son Elijah, and 3 grandchildren he adored.
