David A. Rayment age 74 of Baldwin died Thursday, October 31, 2013 at the Park View Community Campus in Woodville. David was born on April 27, 1939 in St. Paul, MN; the son of Walter and Laura Rayment. He was raised in the Twin Cities where he attended Stillwater and North St. Paul Schools.

For many years, he worked for 3M Manufacturing in St. Paul where he served as head Operator in their adhesives and coatings division. He enjoyed his workshop and collecting signs, model railroad trains and numerous other things. Many will remember him for his dry, yet witty sense of humor as he always enjoyed getting others to smile.

David is survived by wife Donna, Baldwin WI; son, Van Rayment (Libby) West VA.; stepchildren, Cathy Williams, Hill City MN, Erica Rogers, St.Paul MN, Rob Schaefer (Judy) Stacy MN; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, as well as good friends Mark and Di Erickson, Emerald WI and Barb and Scott Larson of Hudson. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services are private. He will be interred in the family plot at Union Cemetery in Maplewood. Funeral services entrusted to the O’Connell Family Funeral Homes and Countryside Crematory of Baldwin.
