David W. Yeager

David Wyatt Yeager, age 74 of Hudson, Wisconsin, formerly Roseville, OH, passed away August 23, 2017 at the Hudson Hospital after battling with cancer for several years.

Dave was born on November 28, 1942 in Zanesville, OH to Paul and Beatrice (Trott) Yeager. He graduated from Roseville High School (OH), class of 1961, and continued his education at the Ohio University, where he earned a bachelors degree in accounting. Dave was united in marriage to Virginia Snell on June 8, 1963, and they were blessed with three children, Holly, Michael, and April. Dave worked as an accountant and had an appreciation for spreadsheets.

Family was very important to Dave and he cherished his. He adored all of his grandchildren and relished in spending time with them. Dave was fond of fishing and golfing, and as a younger man participated in bowling leagues. He enjoyed traveling up north and spending time on his boat.

Dave is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Virginia; children, Holly Yeager, Michael (Hollie) Yeager, and April Simmons; grandchildren, Lydia, Tess and Colson Alexopoulos; Katie and Kristen Yeager, Katie and Emily Bradach; Kelsey and Griffin Robertson, Megan, Trey and Jenna Simmons; nephew, Keith (Char) Swingle; and brother-in-law, John Snell. He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Beverly Swingle, and son-in-law, Bob Simmons.

A memorial service celebrating Dave’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at the Messiah United Methodist Church, 17805 County Road 6, Plymouth, MN. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at church. Interment at the Messiah Church Columbarium. Memorials preferred.
