Dawn Fern Terroso, born on August 11, 1943, embarked on her final journey on January 31, 2025, leaving behind a beautiful legacy filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. A beloved member of her family, Dawn always placed her loved ones first. She found immense joy in the company of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were undoubtedly her pride and joy.

Dawn was a dedicated volunteer EMT for 25 years, embodying the spirit of giving and service to her community. Her selflessness was matched only by her passion for life’s simple pleasures-she loved nothing more than to travel to the “islands” where she delighted in the embrace of palm trees, the sensation of sand between her toes, and a good margarita.

Creativity flowed from Dawn’s heart and hands, as she lovingly crafted crochet gifts for those around her, including her famous crochet hangers, which brought warmth and joy to her family’s lives.

Dawn is survived by her beloved husband Sam Terroso; children Kris Peashey, Kenneth (Michelle) Peashey, and Kim (Rob) White; her grandchildren Brittany (Kyle) Lentz, Alexa Peashey (Richard Matthews), Amberly (Greg) Wegener, Alden (Arielle) White, Alicia White, and Arik White (Lexi Gagne); great-grandchildren Wes and Julia Lentz, Callen and Harrison Wegener, Elizabeth White, Theodore and Adeline White.

Dawn was preceded in death by her parents Fred & Fern Gault of Oswego, NY.

Dawn’s family invites all those who knew and loved her to celebrate her life with a Catholic Mass at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church 1500 Vine Street, Hudson WI, 11:00AM(CT) Thursday, February 6, 2025. Visitation will preceed service 10:00-11:00AM (CT). The family plans to host a celebration of her life in Pennsylvania or New York (location to be determined) for our East Coast family in the coming months. For those who are unable to attend her Mass in Hudson, St. Patrick’s will be livestreaming her service HERE.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation in Dawn’s name to either: The Tunnels to Towers Foundation (t2t.org) or The Upper Midwest Great Dane Rescue (https://thegreatdanerescue.networkforgood.com/projects/133175-donate-general).

Dawn Terroso will be deeply missed, but her vibrant spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, reminding us to cherish each moment and embrace life with open arms.
