Dean Hendrickson Loree, of Ellsworth, WI, passed away Saturday, February 4, 2017 just five days from his 85th birthday. Dean was born in Ann Arbor, MI on February 9, 1932 to Douglas and Mary Loree. Dean lived most of his growing up years in Ann Arbor, Michigan, summering in Bay View. He worked many different jobs including the freighters of Lake Michigan. He began his college at the University of Michigan, but then went into the Marine Corp and served in the Korean War. After the service he attended and graduated from University of Wisconsin River Falls. He married Delores Mae Stockwell on October 8, 1960. They lived in Mankato, MN, Pittsburgh, PA, before settling in Grand Rapids, Michigan where their two children, Jaie and Darcele were raised. Dean retired from Amway Corporation in 1989. In June 2001, Dean & Delores moved back to Ellsworth, Wisconsin to live by family.
Dean was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Delores (Stockwell) Loree. He is survived by his children, Jaie (Denise) Loree, Darcele (Jon) Claesson, grandchildren; Justin (Kim) Loree, Tyler (Courtney) Loree, Merideth (Aaron) Huskisson, Nate Loree, Emily (Shawn) Helmeuller, Sarah Claesson, Isaac Claesson; great-grandchildren, Ryleigh and McKenzie Loree, Henry Loree, Ariana and Xavier Huskisson, Owen Claesson, and Jordyn Mae Helmueller.

The memorial service will be at Hill Funeral Home in Ellsworth, WI on Friday, February 10 @ 4:00 p.m. with visitation with the family beginning at 3:00 p.m.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
