Deborah Jean Satter, age 75, of Prescott, passed away on March 7, 2025, at Prescott Nursing and Rehabilitation. Deb was born on November 1, 1949, in Huntington Beach, California, the daughter of Donald and Marlene (Hanson) Swintek. She spent her early years in California before moving to Minneapolis, where she graduated from West High School. She later pursued training in nursing, dedicating her career to the healthcare field.
Deb married Daniel Totino, and together they had three children: Mark, Scott, and Andrea. Though their marriage later dissolved, Deb remained devoted to her family. She spent her career working in healthcare, serving as a secretary for Hennepin County, as well as at Children’s Hospital and Abbott Northwestern Hospital.
Deb’s greatest joy was being surrounded by her family. She had a deep love for classic rock, especially bands like Fleetwood Mac, Eagles and Journey. Having grown up in California, she always cherished time in the sun and loved spending days at the beach. She also had a natural talent for artistry, often expressing herself through beautiful drawings and vibrant colorings.
Deb is survived by her children, Mark (Rachel) Totino, Scott Totino, and Andrea ‘Annie’ St. John; grandchildren Jordan (Rochelle), Nathan “Nate,” Jenna, Donovan, and Isaac; great-grandchildren Lola and Milo; and her brothers, Jeff (Rose) Kulseth and Stephen (Dawn) Swintek. She was preceded in death by her parents.
The family is planning a Celebration of Life at a later date. Cremation services have been entrusted to O’Connell Family Funeral Home of Prescott.
