In Memory of Deborah "Debbie" Marty

Deborah “Debbie” Marty age 53 passed away at her home on Sunday, October 10, 2021. Debbie was born on March 15, 1968 in St. Paul to parents Timothy Beedy and Patricia (Uhlis) Westrum. She attended Stillwater High School then went on to St Paul Tech where she earned her degree in accounting. She started out working in the accounting field but followed her passion in technology and became a web designer.

Debbie had a free spirit and embraced the hippie lifestyle. She loved to have music playing. Her favorite was the rocking blues. Her dogs were very important to her and she loved to spoil them. Her favorite place in the world was Lake Superior where she and her husband Neil would go for their anniversary almost every year. She also enjoyed cooking and gardening, but most of all she loved being mom.

Debbie will remain in the hearts of her husband Neil; step mom Purita Beedy; children Derek Marty, Jonie Tauer, Bill (Kellie) Marty, Jonathan (Savannah) Tauer, Cassie (Eddie) Scharstrom, and Sarah (Jeremy) Sullivan; grandchildren Daniel, Julian, Madison, Landyn, Bill Jr., Audrey, Joey, and Sophia; siblings Jeanette (Randy) Bohland, Lisa (Robert) Schmidt and step brother Jimer Beedy.

She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Marsha Uhlis, and granddaughter Destiny Maria Juarez-Tauer.

A memorial service for Debbie will be on Friday, October 15, 2021 at St. Lucas Community Church in Lake Elmo, MN. Visitation will be from 10-11am with a service starting at 11am. Interment will be at St. Lucas Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to the family.
