Debra A. Sears

Debra Ann \”Debbie\” Sears, 55 of Ellsworth, WI died unexpectedly at her home on April 15, 2014.Debbie was born on February 24, 1959 in Red Wing, MN. She was the daughter of Lemoine and Mae (Walz) Sebion. Debbie grew up in Spring Valley, WI and was a graduate of Spring Valley High School. She married Gary D. Sears in 1978. They were happily married for 35 years and resided in their farm home in Ellsworth, WI. Debbie stayed home to raise her two sons and help on the family farm. She later provided day care in her home. She also worked as a home health aide for Pierce County.Debbie enjoyed going on vacations with her husband. They enjoyed a variety of cruises and vacations including, Vegas, Arizona, Alaska, and California. Debbie was always known for her cooking. She always made sure everyone had plenty to eat and that they were always satisfied before they left the table. One of her favorite things to do in her free time was to go shopping (especially for her grandchildren). In 2005, Gary & Debbie built their dream home together on their farm. They enjoyed entertaining friends, family and neighbors with lots of card games, pool parties and fun. Debbie was not only passionate about her family and friends, but she also loved being a caregiver to her dogs, cats and goat. She will never be forgotten as a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.Surviving her are her two sons: Chad (Melissa) Sears and Nathan (Jill) Sears. Grandchildren: Katelynn, Cameron, Lydia, Linnea, and Levi. Three sisters and one brother: Dianne (Jerry) Mattison; Donna Reuter; Darlene (Ken) Cance; Scott Sebion.Preceding her in death was her husband Gary in September of 2013, her parents; Lemoine and Mae, her sister Dawn Sebion.Hill Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Ellsworth, WI is serving the family.
