Deloris Ione Dumond, age 80 of Baldwin WI, died on Thursday, October 11, 2012 at the Baldwin Care Center. Deloris was born on August 14, 1932 in Baldwin, WI to parents Harry L. and Ruth B. (Dahlman) Ramberg. Deloris was a graduate of Baldwin High School. She was united in marriage to Dale Dumond on January 17, 1951 at the Rush River Lutheran Church. Their union in marriage would be blessed with five children. Dale would precede her in death on May 4, 1987.

Besides her usual duties as a homemaker, Deloris also worked for 24 years at Fabritek as an inspector. She enjoyed traveling, as long as they could drive. Deloris also enjoyed playing cards, working on word puzzles, crocheting blankets and baby blankets, and people watching at the casino. She was the kind of lady who took the time to sit and visit with her neighbors on the porch. She will be missed dearly by her family and her friends.

Deloris is survived by her children, Linda Dumond of Hammond, Wanda Mundt of Woodville, Bruce Dumond of Hammond, and Greg (Heidi) Dumond of Baldwin; grandchildren, Aaron (Heather) Mundt, Chad Mundt, Nicole (Derek) Dorner, Rochelle (James) Shearer, Alexandra, Sydney, and Olivia Dumond; great-grandchildren, Merissa, Brett, and Lukas Mundt, Taylor, Hayden, and Brystol Shearer; great-great-grandson, Jasov; sister, Inez Newton; sisters-in-law, Lucy Larson, Doris (Glen) Boldt, and Darlene (Bob) Lynum; brothers-in-law, Ralph Peterson, Galen “Chic” (Edna) Dumond, and Marty Herbers; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale; son, Arlen; grandson, Ryan Dumond; siblings Earl Ramberg, Harlan Ramberg, Eldon Ramberg, and Luella Peterson; and sister-in-law, Marlys Herbers.

Funeral services for Deloris Dumond will be held at 2:00PM on Monday, October 15, 2012 at the Trinity Lutheran Church of Hammond WI, with Pastor Michael Briggs officiating. Burial will follow at the Hammond Cemetery. Visitation begins at 12:00 Noon, and will be held two hours prior to the services at church.
